What Is Radon?
Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that has no colour or smell, formed through the breakdown of uranium found in rocks and soil. It can also occasionally appear in water supplies. Alarmingly, Radon exists at varying levels in both homes and businesses in Truro. The World Health Organization identifies it as the second most common cause of lung cancer.
